MANDORLA FILIPPO CEA. ORGOGLIO DI PUGLIA

Arcadia Mandorle ha l’obiettivo di valorizzare le cultivar autoctone. La varietà Filippo Cea, infatti, è fra le cultivar pugliesi più note. Nasce agli inizi del 1900 per opera dell’agronomo Filippo Cea, da cui prende il nome. Alla sua forma, piena e panciuta, corrisponde un sapore elegante, con un finale burroso ed equilibrato. Croccante al palato, è fra le mandorle italiane più ricercate in pasticceria. Ormai considerate un “superfood” sono immancabili nelle diete. Infatti, grazie all’alta percentuale di acidi grassi insaturi, contribuisce ad aumentare il senso di sazietà. A questo, inoltre, si aggiunge la presenza di minerali, come calcio, magnesio, potassio, fosforo, selenio, zinco, e della vitamina E e vitamina B.

FILIPPO CEA ALMONDS. PRIDE OF APULIA
Arcadia Mandorle is committed to enhancing native cultivars.
The Filippo Cea variety is one of the most renowned almond cultivars in Apulia. It was developed in the early 1900s by agronomist Filippo Cea, from whom it takes its name.
Its full and rounded shape offers an elegant taste with a buttery, balanced finish.
Crunchy on the palate, it is among the most sought-after Italian almonds in pastry making.
Now recognized as a true “superfood,” it is an essential part of many diets.
Its high content of unsaturated fatty acids contributes to a lasting feeling of fullness. It also provides essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, zinc, and vitamins E and B.

Arcadia’s goal is to promote regional cultivars such as Genco and Filippo Cea.
We produce limited quantities of almonds to preserve exceptional quality and to respect and value the labor involved.
Harvesting takes place from August to September, in the early morning light, in harmony with nature’s rhythms.
In line with this philosophy, we’ve chosen packaging that ensures optimal almond preservation.
The materials and zip closure are designed to maintain maximum freshness.
