This is not a difficult operation and can be done very easily just keep the almonds in a bowl with water overnight. After the time has elapsed, drain the almonds from the water, the skin will slide off without problems and the almond will have a soft consistency. Almonds can be used in sweet or savory recipes. Italian pastry has a long tradition of desserts with this dried fruit, think of the famous marzipan, but they are also excellent eaten raw.
